I've never been a huge Dead C fan, but I remember thinking that Gate album was freaking awesome.

I don't have an original copy (most of his releases are out-of-print) so I don't know if this is from cassette or vinyl, but I think they're the same.

My favourite Gate album is probably still The Lavender Head 1-2.

^ Agreed - both the Lavender Head releases are brilliant. Of the guitar-based stuff, my favourite is The Dew Line.
