These aren't fun. You go first.

I get all giddy about meeting people for the first time, but somehow I manage to be myself. Tonight I had a somewhat date with a guy, we met at my uni, then we went to have dinner, and went back to his place. We watched Life Aquatic. Then we had a heavy session of making out, then I had to leave. I was comfortable, and it was fun.

a 5 hour FRASIER dvd boxset marathon.

no bathroom breaks.

I avoid eye contact, mumble, and try to spend as much time shoveling food into my mouth so I don't have to talk. YAY!
Second dates are usually the most fun.

i don't think fucking counts as a date.

i don't like first dates. i actually don't even remember when I had one for the last time. i'm getting old.

that's like, funny yet horribly terrifying.

there was a girl at a club where I spun records at that I really liked for a long time. she was a few years older than me, and her dancing was mesmerizing. I was ecstatic when she said she'd go out with me.

so...I picked her up and took her to a fancy (mob run) italian restaurant in Dallas. this place always had a line to get in.

the building next door was being worked on and there was broken glass everywhere.

she found the largest, sharpest piece and asked if she could cut my arm with it. I was determined to not be freaked out by this and gave her the go ahead.

a few minutes and a few pints of sangre later, the old man in front of us turned around and demanded that she stop.

"yr gonna kill that boy", he said.

I'm conviced, to this day, that this good samaritan TOTALLY FUCKING COCKBLOCKED me. :mad:

That sounds like the best date ever, but maybe that's because The Life Aquatic is my favorite movie.

I've never been on a date.

I've been asked on several, but I turned down most of these guy except one. I ended up seeing that this guy thought he was God before the date happened, so it was a no go.

Do you guys ever get like, intensely angry when girls say no to your date?

There was one guy at school who I talked to and went over to his house a few times. I never flirted with him or anything because I'm just not like that haha. I did like him at first but after a while decided he would be a better friend. When he asked me out and I turned him down he got like super angry and started yelling about how he was trying to be a nice guy. I was kinda shocked haha. he even came back after he stormed off and asked again.

EMMAh - if a guy asks a girl or guy out, and has expectations of the answer being "yes", then he can sometimes tend to get angry out of frustration is the answer is "no". However, that has everything to do with him, and nothing to do with the other person.

I recall one day (w/a girl many years ago) where I was so nervous, that I got stupidly drunk and acted like a real embarrasing twat. Not a good moment by me at all, and not one I've repeated since.

Yeahh, I think this guy had anger problems. I can't remember specifically but he told me other things that I thought he overreacted about.

I never even flirted with him though, honestly haha. I acted the same to him as I did to the girls there. Flirting isn't exactly my thing.

Getting too hammered would be a defiant turn off for me.

i figure if a chick doesn't wanna go out with me that's her loss-- ha ha ha. really.

what i can't stand are... what's the word in english? it's calientahuevos in spanish-- or allumeuse in french-- they kind girl like acts like she's horny but it's all an act. oh yeah! COCKTEASE. that shit-- is annoying. and they do it for the attention. but no need to get angry-- ABANDON SHIP-- one can always go home & have a wank-- with someone else in mind of course.

Usually,
I'll pick her up and we'll go eat somewhere
If she likes liquor, we'll have a couple of drinks
If she likes wine, I'll order 2-3 bottles of wine
I get to know her, ask her a bunch of questions about herself
I'm really chatty, so asking her questions helps me from talking too much
Then from there I ask if she wants to:
A.) Go to a party
B.) Go to a club/bar
C.) Go to a concert (If and only there's a good show that night. I know someone who hooks me up with tickets even when the show is sold out.)
D.) The movies
E.) Go to a play
F.) or we just hang out at the restaurant and drink/talk
After that, it's all up in the air
