They'll play not too far from here on october 8th, just the day before sy's gig in milan, 2 days before the echibition opening (which I'll attend) and 3 days before the sy gig in Bolzano (which I'll attend too ha ha).

So, on the interzona (venue) site they say this is the only italian date of this "impro ensemble", after thir "acclaimed debut at the LiFE frenc museum last autumn". Did anybody report anything about this gig they supposedly played during the sensational fix thing? I searched "ramona ponzini" on the forum but except for a post by Moshe where a release with her+opalio brothers was listed I found nothing. BAH!

LEE RANALDO/ MY CAT IS AN ALIEN/ RAMONA PONZINI - improv ensemble

The improv supergroup featuring Lee Ranaldo, My Cat Is An Alien and Ramona Ponzini will make an exclusive live performance at Interzona, Verona, just before the Italian opening of the 'Sonic Youth etc.: Sensational Fix' exhibition at Museion in Bolzano (Oct 10, 2008 - Jan 4, 2009).
The ensemble made its live debut appearance last June at LiFE museum (France), at the international première of the exhibition, which features also works by My Cat Is An Alien and Roberto Opalio, and whose films will be projected during the Italian live show.
