Melly PMd that he had quit the board for good for personal reasons and he thought the board had changed (in a very negative way) and he though he would become a negative twat if he stayed around, so he decided to leave.

Without being paranoid or anything, i DO believe it's my fault in a way as i started the infectious Do you miss Cantank? thread which soon became a nauseous pile of shit, but hey i should have known, so my bad.
He most certainly took quite a few comments personnaly when cantank was deliberately attacked.
And there are other personal reasons he did not mention as they are huh personal.

I miss him , he is an excellent wise and fun dude.

Having been a long time lurker, i do notice a sudden flight of the old time posters. I don't know why this is.
Stalking porky's myspace, i came across a comment by Soncl dating back to last summer ( 2008, so hardly a couple of months ago) in which he said he wasn't coming back to the board as some boardies weren't to his taste at all. It's not the way he put it, but that's the idea.

Melly is a thoroughly nice chap, so yes.

Board moaning is rubbish - and fair play to Herr Doom - but I have to say that a lot of the posters who used to make me laugh have pissed off. It's only really Pookie, T&B and 'marras who post with any regularity that consistently make me laugh. There's still something keeping me here, but there's been rather a large preponderence of people being bad geeks, as opposed to self-loathing geeks (hi).
