that's what happen to me tonight. i went to the dillinger four record release show (it sucked. not cuse of the bands but cause of the venue and it was too crowded and i was ditched by a friend because she wanted to hang out with her other friends so i went home before dillinger four even played) and the first band was this all female hardcore band with two vocals. i was intrigued by them from the start and then they blew me away when they started playing. they have great lyrics, also. here's their myspace.

their last show is saturday.

'sides...most of the greatest bands die/break up anyways. sonic youth is in the minority.

id have much more respect for some cheesy band i.e. metallica if theyed have broken up after those first few albums.

if sonic youths next few albums are as bad as rather ripped, id probally wish theyed have broken up after nurse.

hopefully/most likely that wont be the case though. being that rather ripped is the only album they have that "sucks", and it only sucks by their standards. if some up and coming band would have done that album instead of SY id probally think it was at least "ok".

oh yeah i know what you mean, but i would've liked to see them live a few more times before they broke up.
