best joy division live recordings?
 

i figure there are so many of them, i just don't know which ones to pick..

The Les Bains Douches official release and the Amsterdam bootleg from 1980 are two of my favorites.

I never used to like joy division but after the live cd from the unknown pleasures reissue, it changed my mind. There's so much more energy and rawness to their live set, like a different band. Anyone else have this experience?

i would rather listen to a live joy division recording over their studio recordings.

Why?

the songs are more raw compared to their studio recordings, don't get me wrong i like their two studio albums (well i love closer), but live they were almost untouchable.

What live shows do you have? Would I trouble you to upload...or provide a link? Plesus.

just use soulseek and search joy division live. i don't use websites to download stuff.

It's not their best performances in my opinion (they fuck up a lot - well they often do anyway to be honest :D), it's worth owning for Sister ray and Ceremony though.

isnt it their final performance tho? its amazing in its poiniantcy!
