Casting a Sonic Youth Film
 

It's bound to happen eventually so if anyone does decide to make a film about Sonic Youth, who would you cast in the lead roles? Oh, and assuming it'd be a 'life story' they'd also need to find actors to play Richard Edson (although he could play himself i suppose) Bob Bert and Jim O'Rourke.

I think there was a thread like this before, but obviously I'm too lazy to look for it.
Anyway, Jack Black could play the chubby Jim O'Rourke (pre-Nurse)

Phoenix could take on the Lydia Lunch role.

Nah, I'm still holding out for the lead role in the Tad biopic.
