So my friend recently came across a 52 inch RCA rear-projection hdtv. He is giving it to me for free. The reason he is doing this is because 1) he didnt pay anything for it. And 2) its kind of broken.

The tv turns on. the speakers work. The menu is displayed on the screen, but that is all that happens. Tried plugging in a DVD player and a ps2 and nothing happened. So if anyone out there knows of this problem and more importantly, a solution, i'll make it worth your while;)

you either have the dvd and ps2 plugged into the wrong input, or do not have the input selected from the main menu.
