Recently reissued finally. Somewhat bizarre post punk with inventive use of angular guitars, unusual rhythms, odd vocal effects, unconventional song structures, and horror movie sounding synthesziers. Merged punk, goth, psychedelia, noise, and experimental rock and sounded like a weird mix between the Phantom Limbs and Brainiac or something but a lot darker. Been one of my favorite for years and definitely has not gotten the respect it deserves.

Never heard of... but sounds intriguing. Will have to investigate.

it's been a long time since i put on that record. i used to love the vss.

i just saw it got rereleased by hydrahead. that's one of the last labels that i would expect would release the vss.

Love love love this record huge influence on me when I was younger

I fucking love the VSS. They were on gravity records right? Great label either way. Heroin and Angel Hair always make me smile too.
