Maybe i shouldn't be surprised, but it's really solid overall. Lots of Love and Rockets and Tones on Tail(one of my faves of all time) in there. Just glad to see they still have it.

and that they'll never do anything ever again...I have "Go Away White" on my harddrive but I haven't listened to it yet. I'm a huge fan of the old stuff, though.

I really liked it and was glad that they did something before they split again. That being said, it was a bit underbaked (supposedly written and recorded within two weeks I believe?) and is not a classic the way their earlier stuff is. But worth the purchase and definitely enjoyable.

Hmmmm. I'm not so sure.
I thought that 'Go Away White' reeked.

I thought it was a little worse than average. I downloaded it and burned it for a friend. Doesn't even compare to their other stuff. Felt pretty pointless.

I was never able to get into them much.

You know, that's what i like about it. It was this quick project and we're talking about 25 yrs or so since they recorded together! For that i think its great to hear each voice again bc it reminds one that they were/are unique. Daniel Ash has always been one of my guitar guys. To those that dismiss it, they might want to give it another chance.

Go away white is unfortunately so uninspired that I regret having bought it.

I'm a fan of the band, but I felt "Go Away White" was bound to be a disappointment, hence why I never bought it.

I expected the same, but I checked it out from the library, and I fucking love it. It's a lot more of a dumb rock album than anything else they ever did, but it works surprisingly well on that level. Barely even produced with a really cool droll delivery. I haven't liked anything Peter Murphy has done in forever, so I was pretty excited to find him on a good rock album.
