derek's essentials #9: infidel?/castro! - bioentropic damage fractal
![]() infidel?/castro! - bioentropic damage fractal "crucial blast", 2005 Hmm... how to describe this one. Well, the majority of the songs are crazy noise tracks with insane drum rhythms. Think Dillinger Escape Plan's Calculating Infinity made electronic. The two last songs of each disc though are beautiful ambient tracks played through guitars. This is just a great thought-provoking album that is emotional, chaotic, complex and just damn right interesting to listen to. anyone who wants a link should just give me a holla |
Didn't know anyone else here knew who this group was. Members of Behold... the Arctopus, but don't let that scare anyone. Really bizarre and insane album. Reccomended.

I can't even remember how I got into this band. I'm sure some noise loving dude recommended it to me a few years ago back when I didn't like pure noise. It seriously is an amazing album.

Still one of the best albums I've ever heard. Insanely complex, intensely detailed, cathartic and extremely dark.
It's such a shame that people spend so much time on Behold... The Arctopus when this band is really the true essence of Colin Marston's music. |
