What the hell? Stereolab are one of the best bands ever, up there with Captain Beefheart, Sun City Girls, The Fall, Thinking Fellers Union, and Jandek!!!

Stereolab kick my ass so hard that I can't sit down from the bruises.

I've actually encountered a lot of people who had the same opinion on Stereolab as me on this board.

Re. Jandek - I saw his first England gig a couple of years ago, and was so bored by what was going on on-stage, I headed back to the pub. I have to be honest and say that the charms of Mr J continue to elude me...

I once had an incredibly drunken argument with Tim from Stereolab that came very close to fists. I can't remember the reasons, or it actually taking place, but I've been informed by people who were there at the time that it did. I really wish I could remember it though and that it had progressed beyond mere verbals, if only because I absolutely hate the fucker and would take great pleasure in kicking his scrawny little pedal obsessed arse.
