any good pc multitrack recorders? i dont want anything expensive just some multitrack software with the basic functions and some effects know any? |

audacity is awesome, and i can't say it enough. i use it for recording/multi-tracking/editing and mixing. i highly recomend it.

i've tried audacity and reaper and they're good but when i record my guitar parts it takes 5 seconds until the recording starts to sound phased/watery.. anyone knows whys that? im trying to download the others as well |
does it sound that way when you play just one track?
or does it sound that way when you play multiple tracks? |
even if i record just one track.. it sounds ok but then it starts to sound all wrong.. like with an effect or something... weird O_O
