You aren't that bad. Seriously I tried playing a double bass. I cannot use a bow!! And I think I heard you swearing at some points hahahaha.

I've been playing since... I wanna say December? I've kinda hit a plateau when it comes to learning the cello.

Since December 2008? Wow for 2 months that's really good.

You cannot plateau in 2 months. It takes that long to even realize you've plateaued. You are still progressing steadily, I'm sure.

I dunno, the fact that it doesn't have frets just makes me want to not even play anymore, because if you put your finger even slightly off place it sounds like a steaming pile of shit.

cello makes me think of all those hideous compulsary school concerts I needed to attend at private girls school. and minging girls in dresses all playing cello with their legs open.

double bass is so much more wonderful. sounding and in appearance.
