favorite car manufacturer of the 80s
Personally, I think BMW was the best of the 80s. Every car company pretty much sucked in the 80s except volvo, mercedes-benz, and bmw. Volkswagen was alright. Of course every company came out with one or two good cars during the decade, but it seems like germany (+ sweden) was home to most of the cars that withstood the test of time.

I voted for something else.
I choose the DeLorean. Expensive, impractial, and later funded by coke money-the ultimate 80s car. |
i love the mercedes shape in the 80s

I gotta go with the Benz. Our family had one, a 240D diesal. When they changed to the smaller skinnier body(190E), i didn't care much for it right away, but it grew on me. Love em' now.

I voted for Nissan. I had a Pulsar in the late 80's that just wouldn't die. My BMW was a different story ... always in the shop.
I'm not sure what the hell make this thing was ... but this car belonged to aome friends I made while I was in Germany. ![]() |
