I just found out my oldest friend, since second grade, and fellow musician/writing partner in highschool (kinda like a lennon mccartney thing) is in jail and has 5 charges against him. The biggest one felony murder, because some girl overdosed on him. So. Fucking. Stupid.

My mind still hasn't quite wrapped around this yet. I feel like I've even told a few friends who I probably should have just spared them the burden of this shit news. Fuck that drug, and the chic fucking culture around big money, hoes, & gangsterdom.

there is ALWAYS a worst part, just behind the corner... in general heroin simply makes you infinitely, endlessly, extremely, gradually unhappy (unhappy, unfortunate, miserable, wretched, woeful, woebegone; unlucky, luckless; inauspicious; ill-fated, ill-starred; miserable... i'm not sure if the right word is around to recreate & explain that to you, guys).

Yeah man, unfortunately everyone he knew who used had just started, he didn't see the real effects. For me, he was the effect and my inspiration to never touch it. & though he had been clean, and I stood by him while he withdrew a few times, the shit came back to haunt him.
