USB Record Players
 

Anyone had any experience with these? Im thinking of getting one, despite the fact that it will result in me spending most of my student budget on records instead of food. Any record players that can be particularly recommended?

USB turntables are inferior by design. Get a regular turntable and a mixer with USB outputs. Numark makes one that's about $99.

I've heard Numark & Gemini are terrible quality turntables, even for DJing standards. I've had experience w/ Gemini's, & that's a correct assumption of that brand.

Ion is the norm for USB turntables, but as DJ Rick stated, you're better off getting an analog table. Analog is basically the point to vinyl, so using USB outputs is pointless, IMO.
