Country/folk band on Jools years ago. Their name?
 

this is what I remember of them:

- appeared on Later with Jools Holland (BBC) years ago
- young, around 18 years of age, I'd say
- 4 (?) band members
- female singer with a beautiful voice
- highly energetic violin virtuoso
- they were awesome

I checked her out on Youtube. It's not impossible it was her. Was she ever in a band with a violinist?

Maybe that's because the person who was meant to input the information thought the guests on those shows were all shit. Not an unusual thing to happen on Later With Jools Holland.

She does have a violin player in her current band so maybe she had one with her when she was in the UK. Check the songs on her myspace..?

Must've been around the year 2000. Devon Sproule appeared on Later... in 2008. Couldn't find an earlier show that featured her. So, I'm fairly sure it's not Sproule I'm looking for. I appreciate your effort, Danny Himself.
