Pixies back, playing Isle of Wight 2009
 

Fuck yeah, playing the same poor renditions of amazing songs they wrote 20 years ago!

I'm sure Pixies will have a wail of a time playing to a crowd made up of football hooligans and elderly hippies.

I didn't become a really huge fan of them until three weeks after they finished their 2005 tour. I'm glad I'm going to get an opportunity to see them, even if it might suck.

I wonder what a new Pixies album would sound like if they did one. Hopefully not another "Bam Thowk" I believe that's what it's called

That's cool. Hope they can sort things out and that Frank can get over himself.

What are they gonna do to offset the carbon footprint of a show that everyone has to travel to?

have they now been reformed almost as long as they were originally together?

I do not want to hear that and I sure hope they won't release another album.

They recorded another song, besides "Bam Thwok". It was a cover of "Ain't That Pretty At All". It was a good cover. They're a pretty good band. I really don't think we need a new album though.

Yeah... judging from Frank Black's solo albums and 'Bam Thwok', it will turn out horribly.
