Hey, PJ is releasing her first ever dvd, PJ Harvey On Tour-Please Leave Quietly, on May 1st. It is going to include 16 live songs from the Uh Huh Her tour and some behind the scenes/life on tour footage. Sounds like it will be pretty good.

i saw her in 2004 a month or so after i saw sonic youth, it was a good show, kinda mellower.

sounds good, she did some rad versions on the mexico show, i hope there's some of that footage on the dvd

I saw her on this tour, she was really pretty amazing live...among the best shows I've been to. I think she said she's done with playing, but I don't think it will last forever. There are rumors that she's working on a new album.

I picked up this DVD used a couple of months ago, and I have watched it many times since. It's pretty great, and the guitarist on this tour is very engaging to watch also. PJ Harvey is a pretty amazing talent. I have had some kind of reason keeping me from seeing her every single time she has come through town dating back to her first tour! I really really need to see her play.

You really really need to! I have seen her live several times and she is hot as hell, both musically and in the flesh on stage.

I'll confess she is my longest-running celebrity crush.

This isn't her first, she released a video (assume it was on DVD too) a few years ago. Have to say that it was awful, she really came across as an idiot on it, put me off her for a few years....

....then recently I rediscovered 'Is This Desire' and all was fine. Don't think her new stuff is anywhere near as good as her older albums.
