I've had a band called Candle since 2004. Though so far, I' the only one in it. And we've never actually recorded anything.

Have you played shows?

No. It's just a concept for a band I made up in 2004. The band... well ensemble rather is called Candle. It's a jazz ensemble. The ensemble would constantly involve different musicians plus me, depending solely on who was around on the day I felt like recording an album or playing a show.

what's that?

I think if you're gonna name your band after a song, it's a good idea to have a different style and to make sure it's a song by a band that aren't as well known as Sonic Youth.

Yeah but a band could be called Candle and not even know who Sonic Youth are. Whereas if you called your band NYC Ghosts and Flowers then people would know you got it from SY.
