i tried it last night with a 20 oz. bottle and like 4 mentos. it didn't work too well. some of the other videos on their show people putting like 20 mentos into a 2 liter bottle. we're gonna try that next time.

and another thing

don't drink the coke afterward. it tastes like shit.
