The Eternal reviewed track-by-track
http://thequietus.com/articles/01524...track-by-track
I'm surprised I got this before Moshe of all people. |
thanks, looks like a good review.
thanks! I will read this when I get home.
Really reading through it John Angnello seems like such a prick to be honest.. I like the reviewer's comments a lot more.
I really can't wait for listening to this album.
I was quite excited when I read that 'mission control to brain police' is from anti-orgasm, because that bit sounds quite different from the other bit on the montage (the one that goes 'anti war is anti orgasm' or whatever...exciting shit |
interesting read though that john character writes a bit like a moron.
edit: Dear Quietus John, UPS is hiring.
john seems like he's trying far too hard to write like thurston, but he just doesn't have it down. kool expressway fizz flow to darby crash... but this has nothing to do with the germs, it's more like montana in springtime.
"John" is a choad. I couldn't read his shit after about 2 songs.
It's not John Agnello, this Quietus John is english.
Thanks for the link
If I ever meet this John bloke, I think I shall kick him very hard in the testes. Not because of any protectiveness towards Sonic Youth, but just because he seems like the sort of person who could benefit from such a kick.
What a fucking tripe article. Rather Ripped sounding like early U2? Name dropping Omar Rodriguez Lopez?
Thanks for the link though!! |
'the ching-ching of neck strings being hit?'
i once read somewhere that thurston said 'behind the bridge is punk rock. past the nut is just pretentious.' RESEARCH PEOPLE. |
john makes me want to throw away my barbecue at the beginning of spring
