Try this. The whole album seems to have been recorded in the space between consciousness and unconsciousness.

Slowdive - "souvlaki" or any other release
Hash Jar Tempo - "under glass"
Caribou - "andorra"
The Clean - "getaway"
Lilys - "eccsame the photon band"
The Sea & Cake - "nassau"
Swirlies "what to do about them" & "blonder tongue audiobaton"

These have been doing it for me lately.

natural snow buildings, stars of the lid, and robedoor is usually what I fall asleep to.

Florya 04.26.2009 03:47 PM

Anything by Hammock should do the trick.

Dead-Air 04.26.2009 04:21 PM

Obvious of course, but 90% of Eno's catalog works very well.

Dreamweapon by the Spacemen 3
Palace Brothers fist l.p.
The Moon and the Melodies by Cocteau Twins with Harold Budd
Leonard Cohen's Greatest Hits
anything by John Fahey

demonrail666 04.26.2009 04:25 PM

Fairuz. It's in Arabic so, unless you can understand Arabic, you'll just listen to her voice without getting all caught up in the lyrics.
