Couldn't find a thread about him, since the project's name is too short for a search on this board.
ES is Sami Sänpäkkilä, founder of the Fonal Records label, he has sometimes played with Kemialliset Ystävät. I've just heard his album "A Love Cycle" for the first time and completely enjoyed it. Slow, odd loops, playing endlessly, creating strange, yet beautiful atmospheres. Some will find it really boring, but I think there's really some moments of sheer beauty there. "Les Fleurs Sont Des Bonnes Auditrices", for instance, gave me shivers, with the splendid chanting girl voice coming over and over, and the piano (or is it a piano) appearing after two minutes. "She Puts Out The Fire In Her Heart With Her Tears" is also gorgeous, a cloudy and magnificent ambient piece. Highly recommanded if you haven't heard it yet - in particular to those who enjoy Kemialliset Ystävät.

Yeah, he's pretty great. I really should buy more Fonal stuff...

I saw a live collaboration between him and Fursaxa on the Approximately Infinite Universe tour that was beyond heavenly. I wish they'd release an album together.

i think someone burned me one of his cds a few years back, it was really good
