i went out to a bar with a girl tonite. i got drunk, smoked a little herb afterwards, and drove home listening to halfway to a threeway. lately i am soo fucking hooked on jim o'rourke's solo shit. eureka, insignificance, halfwya to a threeway, this man is a fucking genius. i just wantwd to see who else would agree with my drunk opinion. Also Jams run free is the best song off the new SY record.

i havent heard any of his solo stuff, i will definately check it out now

no one has to care about my drunk opinion from last night, i just asked who agreed. Getting smashed has nothing to do with Jim O's solo work, but driving home last night his music was the perfect soundtrack to end the night, and i just realized how great he is (as if i didn't already know it)

seriously, though. it does take a certain level of genious to compose some of the more...genious works in music. i'm not limiting that to strictly classical music, either. there are geniouses in pop, hip hip, jazz, and everything else...except country.

then again, you said most musicians and these geniouses aren't "most".
