4ms pedals/drone making
 

anyone have any 4ms pedals? i was thinking about getting one for my birthday to use in my drone stuff. anyone have one or can recommend anything. it may also be a moogerfooger, which no matter how you say it always makes you sound dutch.

they all look amazing but quite a lot of them sound very similar and somewhat tinny. anyway i am getting one. its pink.

I bought a noise swash clone off ebay and i thought it was great for a couple of months but I never use it now. Thinking about getting rid of it.

after searching on youtube i definitely want one of these

they're too pricey.
if I were rich, I'd get that yellow one I posted the picture of. it's got some great effect unit in it.

they look great but they seem more suited to a keyboard than a guitar, and I imagine most analogue synths could cover what they do anyway.

if these are very expensive then how much do you guys normally spend on a pedal? i mostly just play acoustic instruments and i don't look at pedals very much, but at the local guitar store most are around $135 and it's a pedal that does one thing, for $200 it seems you can get fairly versatile gear from this site.

i'd possibly be interested in getting something like this, so if these are expensive where could i find something comparable for less money?

I don't think its a case of them being outrageously expensive in terms of other pedals. Even a simple boutique fuzz pedal is likely to cost you in the region of $200-300 at the moment, and i doubt if any of the more mainstream brands like Boss or Digitech do anything quite like what 4ms are doing.
