question about hotels in NYC

me, my bro and two friends are taking a road trip to Philly in a couple of weeks to visit another friend. We plan on taking a train into NYC and spending one night there. Looking at the available accomodations, it is ridiculously expensive to find hotel space.
If anyone has any suggestions as to where to stay or where wold be a somewhat affordable place to stay I woudl greatly appreciate it.

As of now, we can only find two rooms with two double beds each, and the taxes are about 100 dollars a fucking room, which would make it about 220 for each fucking room. horrible. any help???

cuz jesus fuck that is an ass-raping of the highest caliber.

you mind possibly sharing a room with a few strangers?

i stayed in one of the dorms at the Gershwin Hotel.

its right in mid-town and right off of 5th avenue. so there are models walking all over the place, and possibly holding castings in the hotel [if yr as lucky as i am]

www.bedandcoffee.com

^^^ cheap, clean, nice location, cool chick running the place.

(no models walking all over, but I met Gibby across the street).

Am I right thinking that you're trying to get a hotel in NYC on Memorial weekend? Best of luck!

Last time I did that I ended up in a room with blood on the walls.

Yeah, but you can get those rooms pretty cheap. Just go to expedia.com and type in the secret code "Bob Crane."

I stayed at hotel 17.

Cheap comfortable and central. Prices are often less than advertised if you ring them.
