Polaroid stopped production of instant film and sold everything off, but another company bought their factory and hired a few of the technicians and are hoping to have new film being made in the next 12 months.
This website has always been a good place to get more rare polaroid film stocks http://www.polapremium.com/shop/film and this is the company trying to get the polaroid type instant film back into production. http://www.the-impossible-project.com/ Fuji do make instant film, but unless it's changed recently, the quality is really different to that of polaroid, and to be honest I dont think as nice. It did seem to have the over all fuji magenta tint happening, where most polaroid is more about the deep orange glow. |
