I watched the whole thing. I think that qualifies it for genius.

Did any of you watch up to 2:00? That's fucking genius. It's a song that's features elements of about 15 pop genres of the last 5 years or so. I mean, it's fucking awful, but it's interesting awful.

To be honest I can't really make my mind up. I think it's rubbish but something about it makes me want to go back and listen to it again. It's the heavy use of vocoder that I find most distasteful.

the video is pretty cool though.

I don't like the "sound" of it, but it's not bad. A better production (and yes, lesssss vocoder) could help, it's kinda addictive. Not genious, but not rubbish either.

Yeah. There's something quite alluring about them being this dayglo pastiche of the already-lurid worlds of crunk, rn'b and screamo (with elements of Eurohouse in that video aswell).

I mean, to re-iterate, awful, but interesting awful. Certainly preferable to ying-yang twins or lil' Wayne (sorry, I tried, don't geddit).

The vocals are Auto-Tune hell, the screaming seems out of place, the girls are all party-crypto-style wannabes, and the music is nice in a moderately inoffensive way. Hmm, it's pretty rubbish, and certainly not up to the genius of that "put a donk on it" tune. Having said that, it's certainly better than anything punted out by Ministry of Sound these days.
