I've never really gave them a good listen.

What albums should I get?

I give major props to the Melvins for all their influence, but I honestly don't give much of a crap about them aside from those three releases.

I dig most of their stuff, but SuperCreep^^^nailed it with where to start.

I might add Houdini to the list because Nightgoat kicks ass.

They've never done an album I didn't like, but it definitely makes sense to start with the early stuff. For mid period, Stoner Witch is really underrated though.

You've definitely listed the best of the mid and later stuff there. Electroretard is actually one of my most listened to Melvins albums. I love that version of "Lovely Butterflies" with the endless Dale drum intro.

Dale is simply the best drummer in rock 'n roll. There are drummers I rank as highly, but they're all either jazz, experimental, or something besides just rock music.

I love the earlier stuff best, OZMA, GLUEY PORCH TREATMENTS, the King Buzzo and the Dale Crover "solo" ones tooo

gluey porch treatments

bullhead, lysol and gluey porch treatments are my favourites but i dont listen to them half as much as i used to.
