I Saw Mike Watt On Friday
 

So me and my gf made the 4 and a half hour drive to Pedro to see Watt at the Sacred Grounds Coffee House last Friday.e

The show started at 8:00 and he ment it as he was set up and jamming away by a minute after.

He sounded great and his drummer and keyboard player rocked as well.

He also did some readings form a book that I can't remember the name of right now.

Then after the show I got to talk to him for a few minutes and he was nice enough to give me his autogrph and a couple of Watt stickers.

Nothing I knew it was mostly improv stuff but still very cool

I met him in 95 and had my Ball Hog LP signed by him really big in the gatefold, along with his band at the time including Nels Cline.

I had a copy of a minutemen video in the car and he had me go get it and they played a little of it before he went on.

I love Mike Watt.. he gave me the mojo :) :)
