Los Angeles Lakers Parade Today..
 

As much as I don't like professional sports, considering they are the real opiate of the masses, like chariot races in Rome, a way to get all the people to come together for literally nothing and accept that "hey, Rome isn't that bad" and be distracted from more pressing issues...


It is nice to see LA come together for SOMETHING shit anything, as this town has no center, no real cohesion. I haven't seen this big a gathering since the May Day protests...

Maybe in the future we will gather for good and more substance than just basketball, but this is definitely a good practice run so to speak ;)
