it was a radio-station promo that I found. The writing is hilarious! There's like notes written on it from dj's back in '82 and they're talking about how boring the record is.

NICE! I got a couple CDs like that from my old radio days, but nothing as cool as OG Sonic Youth stuff...

And your cat seems to have good taste... I assume he picked that album and put it on, yes?

He did. But I have to close the top when I listen to vinyl cuz he likes to scratch my shiz. Seriously. He invented the remix.

Also, I should note that Pierce HATES the album BAD MOON RISING. All the weird percussion really freaks him out. His ears flick around like Sloth from The Goonies.

But you lose so much of the vinyl charm when the lid is closed! You lose that extra depth that the surface noise adds.

She already fucked up my copy of 36 chambers. :(

we have a CD player that looks like a turntable like that, and if I leave the top open when the CD is playing Pierce makes whatever I'm listening to sound like a Prefuse 73 album.
