I've been in a couple of total eclipses in my life. Nothing quite like it...

If my geography memory serves me, it seems the little black dot of the TOTAL eclipse is going just south of Japan between there and Okinawa.

Fingers crossed.

I wont be able to see this in Canada, I don't think so anyway..

Too cloudy here to see much, got abit dark, but i think that was due more to rain clouds!.

anyone want to get together and watch it, on a boat?

The sun showed through the clouds for about 1 minute around 11:50. Peak coverage in Tokyo was supposed to be about 11:10.
I managed to take this photo about 2 seconds before the sun went back into hiding.

I wonder what would happen to the life on Earth if the moon changed orbit and became a fixed solar eclipse.

I could finally go swimming without getting sunburned.

I am so jealous of the chinese.

I will go travel to see the 2012 eclipse. that will be a dream come true.

I saw one here in LA maybe, 8 or 9 years ago, that shit was fucking intense.

I knew about that, and yes it does sound awesome.

But I'm referencing the Corndog Man (an awesome movie).
