x box 360 or ps3?
not for me, for a younger relative aged 11.
Xbox360, definately.
Wii
360 has better games, PS3 has a blue-ray and doesn't die from red-ring.
for an 11 year old, like noisereductions said, a Wii might be better for having games more tailored to their age. |
what about DS?
DS f'ing rules. But get a DS Lite so they have GBA compatability, rather than the new stupid DSi.
well he had a wii but it has started to breakdown due to over use and general kids messing around with it type damage and he says he wants an x box or a ps3. his sister has a ds and he wants something different so...
can you give me yr Wii, then?
^^^ you can have mine. it's been played twice.
DS is the only GREAT system... in fact, it might be the best gaming system of all time.
360 is the best of the non-portable consoles, but the red ring of death means I'll never get one. |
Also, I'd reccomend a ds lite if you don't have a gamecube (since playing game boy advance games on your cube is way more fun), but the DSi actually rules a lot. You can make animations with it now!
they've supposedly "fixed" most of the problems that caused red-ring. that said, I'm on my second fucking 360.

hells to the yeah! I use my Gamecube for GBPlayer probably more than actual GC games. Also, I got a VGA Adapter so it's hooked up to a monitor. Looks really cool rockin' Super Puzzle Fighter II, etc. |
fuck yeah, same here.
playing metroid fusion on my big screen = mmm!!!!!! |
I have to buy my boy a Wii tommorow for his bday

Yeah really. Especially for a kid that age, it will be a lot more fun. sorry didn't read the thread |
Depends. Do you want your relative to grow up to be a Halo-playing douche nozzle or a Final Fantasy-playing girly nerd?
