BOSTON Tickets sale date?
 

Anyone know when they will go on sale for Wilbur Theatre Nov 22 and 23rd? Venue hasnt posted them as being booked. I think I read Moshe mention weekend after Labor Day. Seems odd it would take this long.

I just checked the Wilbur Theater website and the shows aren't listed. Maybe they're tossing around whether they'll be able to do it or not. Same goes for the NYC show. Might be cancelled?

Did the Wilbur site ever have the shows listed? 'Cause the SY show is still
on the Terminal 5 site calendar.

I SWEAR I saw an ad for it on the Wilbur site around the time Moshe posted that the tix would be available the weekend after Labor Day. Since the tix weren't sold I guess they can remove it without too much hootin' and hollerin'. Terminal 5 tix have been sold, so it stays on the site until a decision is made is my guess.

the weekend after labor day is technical this weekend. So I hope to see them on sale tomorrow. I got to believe if the shows were canceled they'd have notified this site. The Wilbur probably only post shows once the tickets are on sale to save themselves from being hassled

I am hoping the same because when tickets for Yo La Tengo went on sale at the Wilbur, there was no prior notice and the event popped up on Ticketmaster right when they were ready to be sold. That was on a Tuesday though. You would think if tickets were going on sale this Saturday, they'd advertise it in the on-sale ticket alert emails that go out for Ticketmaster and LiveNation every Thursday and Friday evening. Today's weekend emails had nothing about an SY show. Also, the Wilbur Weekly on-sale info email only had info for the Dane Cook NYE show so I'm losing hope and thinking they're holding off longer for one reason or another.

Thanks ever so much Moshe...Now how can I make sure I'm on the pre-sale list? I registered them as a favorite at Ticketmaster. Is this enough or must I do more...

Please help me so I can sleep the next few nights...

Yeah but the NYC date had a presale too and it was through Ticketmaster so I'm gonna hope it goes down the same way on Tuesday. I remember the NYC date had a pre-sale password box that said "Sonicyouth.com pre-sale" and the same password of "eternal" was used.

yes pre-sale runs thru ticketmaster just hit presale on home page of this web-site. password is ETERNAL just as Moshe said. I'm going sunday with the Feelies.

Ticketdisaster must be saving the first two or three rows for legal scalping at Stub Hub etc.

That's the way I figure it too. Well I'll be there with my son.
He'll be the handsome one and I'll be the one having trouble fitting in the seat thanks to my methdone diet........
