I'm not sure if yr joking. But I'm a huge Fiona Apple fan. Since TIDAL was released. Seriously. Love her. I've seen her live. Etc. I think she's amazing.

I dont' know what yr listening to, but Fiona Apple is pretty non-commercial sounding to me.

I really like her. Became a fan after I heard that album she did with Jon Brion that her record company wouldn't let her release because it was too "uncommercial." It might have been commercial for a brief period when all that Lilith Fair shite she was unfairly grouped in with was popular (Lisa Loeb, Sara McLachlan, their ilk).

Of her three albums, WHEN THE PAWN is without a doubt my favorite. Jon Brion's production, paired with her voice is incredible. Perfect album.
