what do u guys think of jay zs new record? at first I thought it was pretty average. then i listened thru again and thought it was pretty great. jays still got it. the beats were what was dragging the album down for me before. I don't know but the style of the production is now awesome. il give it a few more listens to solidify it for me.

I think there's a few songs I fucking hate. ("Hate" is one of them). But for the most part, I think it's a damn good album. I listen to it a lot.

Out of the songs I regularly listen to off it, I love it. Same thing happened with me, I didn't like it at first, then I realized how awesome the beats were. Unlike a lot of popular rappers, he still stays true to what he wants his album to be instead of having marketers decide what it should sound like

after listening to it some more it's got even better. only tracks i dislike are the one with young Jeezy and haters. but the production has certainly grown on me. some amazing beats on there.

"Haters" is horrible. I mean really bad. I can't believe it's a Jay/Kanye collabo. Wow. But yeah, most of the album I like a lot.

Oh, Jay Z! I remember that guy! He's the guy who did the vocals on "The Grey Album" by Dangermouse!
