I don't usually like "social commentary" art, but this one has enough surreal gore to make me like it on several other levels.

One of my favorite artists in Holland, Joanneke Meester, reminds me of similar work. Only she uses REAL human skin and not latex.
In this case her own skin. This one's called meat pistol. It's 5.5x3cm for the reason that you can't cut off too much skin at once.
Your body wouldn't be able to take it.

She makes very creepy stuff.

I recently went to two exhibitions. Jonathan Meese and the frightenly real Ron Mueck. If you get a chance, go see his work. Amazing! I could look at it for hours.
