David Sylvian - Manafon
Anyone have this yet? Because it looks pretty damn amazing. It's basically Sylvian taking a series of new improvisations by a who's who of EAI and other improv musicians, and then writing songs around them. Otomo Yoshihide, Fennesz, Toshimaru Nakamura, John Tilbury, Keith Rowe, Sachiko M, Evan Parker, Marcio Mattos, and many others. Has the potential to be quite stunning by the sound of it.
The first track is Small Metal Gods, which I like a lot, although by the sounds of the Wire article about the album the rest of the tracks are less "songy", which might be for the best. |
Perfect, will check it out.
2 EAI threads in one day?! |

Haha what.
I just searched for this on soulseek and about a MILLION people had it. It almost crashed my puter with all the people who had it. What the hell? |
You'll find out they're all versions of Snoop Dogg's Drop It Like It's Hot actually. People don't wanna get sued by the RIAA
