Ouija boards?
 

My friend bought one that is currently sitting in my apartment. I'm a total skeptic about the thing but she is insisting that we get some people together and mess around with it. However, while still being a skeptic and acknowledging that humans are dumb, vile creatures, there's too much hokum surrounding them for me to totally blow it off without giving it at least a few tries.

i may not believe in the whole ghosts/spirits thing but for some reason those things do scare me quite a bit.

no experience but i have been told that regardless if whether you believe in that kinda thing or not its not to be messed around with

ive never had a good experience with one. either somebody fucks it up because theyre impatient or you have to stop because you scare yourself with noises coming from around the house.

i hate to even say this because i hardly believe it myself, except i saw it. my friend and i bought one when were in midland, tx. we were messing with it.. asking it questions... nothing. then we sat back and the thing moved across the board all by itself. my friend promptly got up and took it outside and threw it in the dumpster.

Edgar Cayce called them "dangerous", that freaks me out since Cayce was a prolific medium.

I mean, it's not one of those wooden ones, just a cheap glow-in-the-dark Parker Bros. Maybe we'll get into it in a few days.

i think they're brilliant. wickedly fun. i dunno. i've always found it so easy to get a good session going. i can see how it could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

I knew someone who told me he and a couple of other guys made contact with a pirate of incredible evil using a ouija board. It was the most terrifying experience of his life, and because of it he told me he'd actually kill anyone who was thinking of using one!

My family used to mess around with them. Never had a bad experience with one. Maybe if you expect a bad experience, you'll get one.

Since then I've heard about them being ways that evil spirits can infiltrate your house, but come on, fuck that shit.

I wanna get one and use it by myself but I've "heard" that's a really dangerous thing to do. fuck it. whatcha think, guys?
