a serious cleanup?

I just don't see the point of keeping crap threads and inactive pages.
It probably slows down the server and takes up useless space.
Who of you actually look on page 50 of non-sonics, for example?

Is that from a film? There's a track by some French band, the Troublemakers I think, that uses a bit of dialogue very similar to that. Whenever I hear it, I wonder where it's from.

The old threads sometimes come in handy; if I know an old thread exists then I'll deliberately resurrect that rather than start a new one, as it saves anyone re-writing links etc. Seems good.
