Not complaining, simply noting. If I look at the subject lines, they are all "Hey", "Hey, hey" or "RE: Hey".

We need Sonic Instant Messaging! And I am the ultimate anti-instant messager sayin' that.

there should def be a SYG chatroom.

I can set up an IRC room if people would be down for it

that'd be awesome, I almost always have mirc idling in the background

Probably because you are so much more approachable than me. People have to qualify that they are even writing to me directly, while you, they are already to the level of saying, "please do not write me back". That's extreme familiarity if I ever heard of such a thing!

You also have an abbreviated nickname. You're like a cuddly teddy bear with a few high frequency wires hanging out the back that everybody knows how not too touch.

I don't think it's a manner of being approachable, I think it's more along the lines of the fact that the people PMing both me and Dead Air are incredibly unoriginal.

There used to be a SYG chatroom a while ago... well it was not really SYG but I remember distinctly speaking to Grete and nicfit on some chatroom. Like three years ago

I'm lazy so I'm gonna set up the IRC channel on a server I'm already registered on nickserv with, probably serenity... even though that network kinda sucks

what is wrong with hey. I try to add in something else if it's relevant.. but I hate giving subjects to my PM's because they generally have no fixed topic and carry on for days/weeks/months/years etc.

If there was a SY IRC attached to this place I would probably not post at the forum, and just hangout in #sonics or whatever it might be.

IRC > messageboards for me when the two are side by side. I come for instant gratification. It's boring when there is no one around.

someone should set that up and post a link in a sticky.
