it was fun to see attila csihar doing his crazy 'performance' live
especially that i understand all the things he says haha
they got 'undressed' at the end of the show and smiled at the audience wich made the whole show very human in a way.
ive gotta say i enjoyed it (altho i was listening to them outside the club as they were soo loud and i have baad tinnitus anyways)

Toilet & Bowels 10.28.2009 07:09 AM

i've seen them about 5 times, i find them waaay better live than on record, the show i saw them do with boris when they played altar was the largest sound i've ever heard

music to fall asleep to.

background music
MUZAK basically

pbradley 10.30.2009 04:08 AM

I usually find them really boring but I bet I could get into them provided with some codeine or oxicodone or something.

Glice 10.30.2009 06:01 AM

Brilliant music on ketamine. They're playing near here soon, but I think my gig budget has been taken up with opera, sadly. Seen them twice, I think they're one of those bands that really are worth seeing, regardless of how much a person likes them.

Toilet & Bowels 10.30.2009 07:40 AM

yeah, there's nothing like them, even if you have the most vague & half hearted interest in music i would recommend seeing sunn o))) because it will be a completely new experience

I am debating spending a $100 gift card that my work gave me for our 5+ years luncheon on either

Itzahk Perlman playing
Berlioz: Overture to Béatrice et Bénédict
Elgar: Enigma Variations
Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto

or the Houston Grand Opera doing Wagner's Lohengrin

you're confusing a sunn o))) show with a my bloody valentine show.
i guess how good a sunn o))) show is depends on who they've got playing in the band at that time, each time i've seen them they've had a different line up.

Probably not, I'm kind of burned out on SunnO))) live... they're also playing ATP (twice) and I'm not even looking forward to that. I think I've seen them too many times to remain interested.
I'd be interested in seeing Eagle Twin though, who are supporting.

Last time I saw them was in a church and I dozed off while sitting on one of the wooden benches. I was really tired though, no volume in the world could stop me from having a nap.
