Yeah, you're right. Daydream Nation really sucked. Sister, EVOL... Nothing good ever came from the 80s.


Actually, I love that synth stuff. I grew up on Yes, Genesis, etc. so Human League, Gary Numan, all that stuff. Obviously, totally opposed to what SY was/is doing but great none the less.

That documentary reminds me of my turbulent youth. I grew up loving most of the bands mentioned on there. It was a very dark period but noone can deny how important it was for music.
The transition musicians made from the 70's was like no other.

It all went for a ball of shit when SAW pulled in halfway through the 80's and raped music for what it was worth. The 90's was a nightmare for Brit pop.
