Beck's Record Club
So what do you all think of the records? Im listening to the VU one now and am enjoying the remakes. So weird to hear an electronic beat on run run run, venus in furs came out great i liked how they used these weird electronic sounds to replace the dissonant viola.Heroin seemed a little too rushed and random though. and There she goes is annoyingly off key.(this coming from a meat puppets fan)
Which of the records (VU, Leonard Cohen, SKip Spence) do you like best? I've only heard the first but am interested to see what people think of the others. Oh and if someone could upload the leonard cohen cover album theyd be my best friend on this board and we'll go take acid and see my bloody valentine together. The VU one is 50/50 for me. I haven't d/l'd the Cohen yet. I plan on keeping up with all of them. IT's a brilliant idea, no matter. And Beck rules.
