Are they an endangered species? There's so few in my town now, I rarely see them.

i think goths have kind of evolved into those annoying twats at clubs that wear pvc and massive high boots and fairy wings etc.

fairy wings went out in the 90's.

i think there has been some mergance with emo/metal.

my sister tries to be a goth and it has spread to my 11 year old cousin now

tell that to the fucktards i see wearing them sometimes.

mall goths grew up to become emo kids and later indie scenesters.

i don't see any emo kids these days. they were all over the place last year. don't tell me all those 'suicide attempts' were all successful!

no, now they are all scene kids. they wear the same studded belts and eyeliner, just with different band t-shirts and a lil more color.

they all work at urban outfitters or are waiters now.

or their mom persuaded them to get a decent haircut and take the crap out of their faces.

just as long as they have financial support they do what they are told.

There's a goth couple that live a few houses down from me. Absolutely lovely people. I've no idea whether their parents are paying their rent or if they work at Urban Outfitters but they're both always really nice to me and so far as I'm aware have never caused any trouble whatsoever. Goths are nice people, it strikes me.

they're wearing bat-wings or some black demon-wings now. i don't have any problem with that because it's mostly attractive chicks who wear them. *makes whip noises*
