Ever worry about other users on forums?
 

Sometimes a user would post stuff about their personal lives one can only feel concerned about. What satan posted recently for example is real cause for concern. When I read stuff like that I think maybe I should pm other users to find out who lives closest to them and request they pay them a visit to make sure everything's alright. You ever feel that way, too?

Best not to pm a user who is as fucked up as I am to see if I'm alright. Make sure the user is certifiably sane. :D

yes, i was actually going to reply to her post earlier with a longass story of my own but scrapped it in the end because it was too long and rambly.

learning to say no to drugs = learning to stand up to people. this is something she has to learn how to do by herself, and seems to be doing well at so far. that post didn't worry me, it actually quite impressed me that satan has the intellectual capacity to set aside the lure of addiction and false compassion and clearly discern how junkie physics works.

I wouldn't mind too much if I were you KIS. After all it's up to those people how they handle their lives. You can't do anything about it. There's a difference between reading "disturbing posts" and actually having to listen to a troubled person from face to face: You can just skip forum posts. Mostly people who post entries such as those you were referring to just want attention. Of course this could be wrong too but how are you supposed to know, you can't analyze a person just by reading his/her posts on some forum

I was going to say something along the lines of this. As anyone who has any sort of relationship with me outside this forum will tell you, SYGossip HaydenAsche is far more exaggerated. It's the concentrated version of the original.

However, there are certain people on the forum that I care about. If Alex(or schizo, Lilly, or Adam, etc.) seriously needed something, I'd be there as quickly as possible if the situation is reasonable. Some of these people know me better than people in my real life do, so you know.

I felt the same way. Satan is intelligent enough to handle her own. She's done a much better job than I have at using drugs as intelligently as a drug-user can than I have thus far. Everybody has a little hard luck sometimes.

Worry? No. But its a daily wonder, and it baffles me, why certain people would want to divulge as much information as they do, and as to why they treat it all so serious. It's real but it's not reality. Ones popularity or character on this forum doesn't always permeate to the outside world. It somehow concerns me that people take this world more seriously than they do the 'real' world.
