THE BLUE HUMANS!!!
he's on a few Rudolph Grey and the Blue Humans recordings which also include Tom Surgal (of White Out) on drums |
well, of course there's all the Text of Light stuff, which is pretty cool

yes precisely! |
i've heard a couple of his solo records and they didn't really leave me with anything, however i do really like this song

I do quite enjoy YMCA (his latest release, i think?).
Nothing spectacular or really innovative, but it's a nice record - good music to learn to. His work with Haino and Text of Light are both very good |
I have a lot of his stuff, still need to listen. thanks for reminding me about that.
now I'm only familiar with Text of Light and Run On (his first band?) |
i'm not really fond of the record he did with haino, i read somewhere that the label had it mixed really weirdly and some of what they were playing isn't really audible on the record
|
Max Factory was some tasty stuff, not sure the releases reflect it but I've dug his collabs with Loren Conners, and the times he played with Rhys Chatham were good, nevermind the ace Text of Light sets. Must've been last year I saw him play with David Darnelle at The Stone which killed.
